  • HMT: Civil Liability Act report on savings provision

    This response follows a March 2019 consultation regarding draft regulations (Civil Liability (Information Requirements) and Risk Transformation (Amendment) Regulations) that will... require firms who sell relevant insurance policies to provide information to FCA. The information will be used in a report by the Government which assesses whether firms have passed on savings arising from the Civil Liability Act 2018 to their customers and the consultation had focused on the scope of the requirements and methodology for calculating the relevant information. A revised draft of the regulations has also been published.
