  • FCA: Approach to international firms

    03/02/2021
Further to CP20/20, FCA has published this approach document which concerns international firms which are providing or seeking to provide financial... services that require authorisation in the UK. It sets out how the regulator will assess these international firms against minimum standards when they apply for authorisation and during ongoing supervision, as well as general expectations for these firms. It also sets out the circumstances when these international firms could present higher risks of harm and how those risks can be mitigated. This document is described as supplementing existing policy statements and guidance and the Handbook. A separate feedback statement has been published (second link below).
