    ESMA has published its final report on its inquiry into Cum/Ex, Cum/Cum and withholding tax reclaim schemes. It recommends that... national competent authorities for securities markets should be empowered to share information with the tax authorities in order to assist in detecting such schemes. It is noted that ESMA has also considered whether an amendment to MAR would contribute to the detection of such schemes, which is covered in the MAR review also published today.
