Description

Brexit Broadening the debate banner

The CMS Energy team in London is hosting a breakfast seminar on “BREXIT: Impact on the Renewables Sector” on Friday 27 May at our Cannon Place offices.

The European Union (EU) has helped to define the direction of renewables policy in the UK over the past decade, framing the context within which renewables projects have had to operate. With the Referendum vote coming up on 23 June this seminar will bring together experts and analysts to present on the potential impact on projects and transactions in the renewables sector.

Munir Hassan, Partner, CMS will chair the event, with the following speakers presenting:

Anthony Robinson, CBI – EU referendum: Business views & economic impact
Duncan Sinclair, 39 Essex Chambers – Legal implications of Brexit for renewables
Chris Osborne, FTI Consulting – Britain's role in an integrated European Power market?
Dustin Benton, Green Alliance – The politics of post Brexit renewables policy
Munir Hassan, Partner, CMS – Practical Considerations for Projects and Transactions in the Sector

The seminar will be followed by an interactive Q&A session and the opportunity to network afterwards.
