The CMS Employment team are delighted to invite you to their next "Lunchtime Online" Series. You will find further information about the topics and how to register via the link below. The sessions start at 13.15 with the presenter speaking for approximately 30 minutes with further time for questions at the end. Please feel free to share this invite with other colleagues who may have an interest in joining.

14 May 2015 - TUPE Update
TUPE experts Mark Walker and Robert Davies will discuss recent case law on issues ranging from what constitutes an organised grouping of employees, to dealing with practical aspects of pre-transfer consultation.

4 June 2015 - In Sickness and Health
As the concept of disability continues to evolve with recent decisions extending protection to some obese employees, employers need to keep up to date with their legal obligations. In this session Helena Pires considers recent developments in reasonable adjustments, and how the new fit for work service could interact with your existing occupational health process.

18 June 2015 - Dealing with Difficult Employees
Every HR team has had to deal with a very challenging individual at some point. It could involve complaints by an unsuccessful job applicant, serial grievances or just dealing with complex disciplinary issues. In this session Eileen MacMahon and Tom Cloke share their tips on dealing with these issues, highlighting common mistakes made by frustrated employers and how to avoid them.

Lunchtime sessions count for CPD purposes for the Law Society of Scotland and as (un-accredited) CPD for the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Please note our sessions may be recorded.
