Luxembourg implements 5th anti-money laundering directive


In the midst of a sanitary crisis, the Luxembourg parliament has adopted last Saturday bills of law n° 7467 and n°7512. Both bills of law implement into the law of 12 November 2004 on the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, as amended, the provisions of EU directive 2018/843, also known as the fifth anti-money laundering directive.

Both laws have been published in the Memorial on 26 March 2020.
