Draft amendment published for Ordinance linked to changes in the Bulgarian Fuel Act

Following amendments made to the Bulgarian Fuel Act that came into effect this January, a draft amendment and supplement to the Ordinance on the Order and Conditions for Maintaining the Register of the Individuals, Conducting Activities with Oil and Oil Products was published for public discussion.

The Ordinance's new provisions implement the changes made to the Fuel Act and update the following:

  • Information that must be included in the Register of the Individuals Conducting Activities with Oil and Oil Products with the Ministry of Economics;
  • The conditions and submission order for applying to the Register;
  • The documents provided for application to the Register; and
  • The form of various documents that must be submitted during the registration process.

According to the draft amendment to the Ordinance, when the application for registration is filed electronically, the applicant (or a proxy) must sign it using its own qualified electronic signature. Declarations for personal circumstances may be signed only by the respective declarer with its own qualified e-signature.
