Ukraine to switch to Unified List of Dual-Use items

Ukraine

Beginning on 19 October 2018, Ukraine will switch to application of the newly adopted Unified List of Dual-Use Items for the purposes of state control of cross-border movement of items having dual civil and military use.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted this resolution in January 2018 with the aim of bringing the Ukrainian regulation in this area in compliance with EU standards. The Unified List of Dual-Use Items mirrors the EU list cited in Regulation (EC) No 428/2009.

Companies planning to conduct the cross-border transfer of goods falling under the Unified List of Dual-Use Items must obtain prior authorisation by the State Export Control Service of Ukraine.
