The annual report of the OFWAT National Customer Council and the 10 regional OFWAT Customer Service Committees representing water customers has been published, as required by Section 194 (2) of the Water Industry Act 1991. The report covers the period 1 April 1998 to 31 March 1999 and focuses on the price limits for the period 2000 - 2005. The report reveals a second successive year in which there has been a 10% increase in customer complaints, with the majority of complaints being received in March when many customers receive their annual bill.
