UK: Recyclate markets - Scotland

The Scottish Environment Minister, Sarah Boyack, has launched “REMADE”, a £1 million programme to develop potential markets with Scottish industry for recyclate. In response to the current decline in markets for recyclable materials, the Government is committed to increasing recycling, stimulating new capital investment and creating or retaining jobs. REMADE is to be a three year market development programme working with industry to find uses for waste materials.
