Treasury Task Force launches IT guidance for PFI projects 2

United Kingdom

The Treasury Task Force, the Government's focal point for all PFI activity, will today publish a draft guidance on the way information systems and information technology (IS and IT) services are treated in PFI projects.

The draft guidance, which is published as a consultation document, sets out guidelines for the efficient management of the procurement process for future projects. It also acknowledges that some aspects of IS/IT projects should be treated differently to other PFI deals.

Jeremy Newton, a partner in out IT and Telecoms practice has been helping the Treasury Task Force to prepare the consultation document
