Russia offers visa-free entry during UEFA Euro 2020

Foreign nationals planning to attend UEFA Euro 2020 matches in Saint Petersburg as spectators will be able* to enter Russia without a visa if they have a passport, a Fan ID, an entrance ticket for a match or documents entitling them to receive tickets.

Foreign fans will be able to enter Russia without a visa during a period starting 14 days before the first UEFA Euro 2020 match in Saint Petersburg and ending on the day of the last UEFA Euro 2020 game in that city. They will have to leave the country no later than ten days after this last match.

According to the published dates of the UEFA Euro 2020 matches, foreign fans will thus be able to stay in Russia from 30 May 2020 until 13 July 2020 with the understanding that the last day for entry under this regime will be
3 July 2020.

Comment

Fans who plan to take advantage of these visa-free conditions to come to Russia should pay close attention to the validity period of this simplified-entry procedure and make sure they leave Russia within the prescribed period to avoid violating Russian migration rules.
